This event will showcase successful research commercialisation stories arising from the University of Liverpool's innovative research. It will be a celebration of our researchers with entrepreneurial spirit who have embarked on a successful yet challenging journey to bring their innovative and ground-breaking research ideas to the marketplace.

The event will also offer an opportunity to share best practice, advice and the internal support available for effective ways of commercialising research in a bid to inspire the next generation of research entrepreneurs.

Session outline/ plan

By the end of this session, participants will:

  • Have heard examples of research commercialisation journeys
  • Be offered advice on starting their commercialisation journey
  • See the benefits of research commercialisation
  • Be informed of internal support available for research commercialisation work
